Ed Bowe Director of Instructor Training ESPN Golf Schools Director of Instruction Amelia Island Plantation
Ed joined the ESPN Golf Schools team in 2003. He is the Director of Training for the ESPN Golf Schools, conducting annual training for the instructional team of instructors.
Over 15 years a PGA Class "A" member. He enjoys teaching all skill levels of golfers. Ed teaches one on one lessons, playing lessons, group clinics and multi-day golf schools. At Amelia Island Plantation Ed is responsible for overseeing all golf instruction programs and instructor training.
He is the former Director of Instruction for the Golf Digest Schools National Headquarters. Ed managed 17 school locations and 22 instructors. He also co- wrote the Golf Digest Schools instructor and teaching manual. ESPN Sports Nation has featured Ed as the Chat Room Instructor on several times during the Major Championships. Ed has written articles featured in Golf Digest in March 2003, May 2002, March 2002, and the equipment guide in January 2002. Ed has over 20 years of golf schools experience. As a player Ed was the conference Champion in College, advanced through the PGA Tour Qualifying tournament's first stage, played in over 100 mini tour events and lead the 1st round of the Arizona open with a 63.
